Mune and shinogiji are burnished so they are shinier than the rest of the blade. Traditional polisher signature (nagashi) on both sides. The blade is very sharp. Approximate dimensions koshirae length 31â total blade length 28 nagasa 21 3/4 moto-haba 1 3/16 saki-haba 3/4 moto-gasane 1/4 saki-gasane 3/16. Old saya with crushed abalone shell mebedded in a lacquer. Golden-colored silk ito and cotton sageo. Matched pair of antique floral menukis, made of copper, with gold wash on flowers. Fuchi and kashira with kiri mon (family crest of paulownia). Old tsuba, 2 3/4 in diameter, signed shigetada. This itme is for sale to usa, canada and europe.
