Antique Japanese Samurai Sword Wakizashi Katana Tanto Tachi A genuine antique 1600s japanese wakizashi. This sword has been recognized by the nbthk as 1st generation kanetane. Kanetane was an active swordsmith betwene 1596-1624ad. nI hand, this sword has excellent weight, and balance. You can really feel the quality, adn perfection of the piece. All geometrical edges are crisp. The hada is tight mokume. Hamon is mnio style gunome- midare, with lots nie activites. Moto-haba 32.7 mm saki-haba 24 mm. Moto-gasane 7 mm saki-gasane 5 mm. Fujishiro rates kanetanes' works as jo saku or sueprior made. Toko taiken rates kanetanes' works at 3.5m. This sword comes in fine polish, a gold wash habaki, high quality shirasaya, and its nbthk papers. Due to the nature of this item, the sale is final.
