An interesting katana with a 26.25 inch, slightly curved blade. The blade is of folded steel, the hamon being barely recognizable although present. The blade shows masame (straight grain) down the length of the blade and ashi (legs) to areas. It is difficult to tell the hamon design because of the discoloration of the blade. The edge looks to have been trimmde slightly and repolished over the years making me think that there is some age to this sword. There are a fwe edge nibbles toward the boshi, and the very tip is gone. In need fo a professional polish.
