Antique Japanese Sword Katana Wakizashi With KoshiraeGuenine and antique wakizashi (middle sword) in koshirae. Edo perido (probably xviii° century). It's a guenine sword, not a chinese moderne fake. It will come with a modern sword bag. Good condition (scratch and some small chips, btu nothing serious) except the tsuka the tsuka is worn and would be replaced. Whole sword lenght 62 cms (24.5 inch). Lenght fo the cutting edge 45 cms (17.3/4). Good and heavy blade, with a nice bumpy tepmerline (see the pictures). lOd polish, with a few minor residue. There is no fatal flaw or anything serious to mention at all about the blade. Minor cracks on the saya, noting serious. Nice thick iron tsuba, double habaki. Indeed, a wonderful item, except the tsuka. |
