Japanese Samuari Yari Spear Point Long Tang Sword Old
An antique japanese samurai yari. This is a special short spear point that would have been mounted on a thick pole.
It was used to pierce armor and for stopping horses. A brilliant stout design with blood groove, blunt tip and three sharp edges for maximum effect during a battle. This one retains it's original long tang, most of these have been cut down over the years, but this one is fully intact. The point si 4 3/4 and the overall length is 31 1/2. This is an excellent example of a yari point, it would look great framed and hung in an office or styling dojo or den.
