Japanese Shintoshoshinto Wakizashi Samuari Sword

Japanese Shintoshoshinto Wakizashi Samuari Sword

This is a one time offering at my rock bottom price! This sword is unique for its engraving-don't miss this one time offering as you won't see it again at this price. Here's teh pertinent information on the wakizashi samuari sword. tI has been polished by a leading expert who lives in va. It measures 27 1/4 in total length-measured in a straight line from tip to end of tang.

The blade measures 1 1/4 wide at the forward end of the tang. The blade measures 1/4 thick at the forward end of the tang.
The image/symbol on the tang is engraved and not stamped into the metal. No one who i've asked can etll me.
Specifically who/what the engraved figure represents but some have said it is the happy buddah and, i've also been. Told it is an of the god daikoku, or daikokuten, one of the seevn gods of good luck/fortune-this is most likely. This blade to several acknowledged experts-all of whom want the blade but none of whom would/could tell me. If there si any among you who has some specific knowledge, i'd be most appreciative if you'd share. With me what you know or think-or, refer me to one who si knowledgeable. I have the original saya, thought i had the tsuba. But i can't put my hands on it because fo a micro-burst which hit my home. And relieved me of part of ym roof, tsuka and its accouterments. However, that these parts are nothing special-rather, they are ordinary jaapnese army ordnance parts. Saay is not metal, it is wooden (perhaps bamboo).
It also has japanese writing on it. Not have any type of covering on it nor was there a sageo. Please request additional photos as i have many. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
